He once served as the "Chief Commander of Bodyguards" at Haiti's Canadian embassy

James Solages is an American citizen who is under arrest and accused in connection with the assassination of Haiti’s President Jovenel Moïse.
The assassins of Haiti’s president falsely claimed to be U.S. DEA agents in a scene captured on video, which you can watch later in this article. The DEA stands for the Drug Enforcement Administration. The Washington Post broke the news of Solages’ alleged involvement.
Bocchit Edmond, the Haitian ambassador to the United States, told the AP that the attack “was carried out by foreign mercenaries and professional killers — well-orchestrated,” who pretended to be DEA agents. According to AP, the DEA does have a presence in Haiti’s capital to “assist the government in counternarcotics programs.”

It was confirmed late Thursday that Solages had once worked for a company that contracted to provide security for the Canadian Embassy in Port-au-Prince, the Herald reported.
James Solages, 35 of Tamarac, Florida, does not have a criminal record, according to a report.
“We are aware of allegations implicating an individual who was briefly employed as a reserve bodyguard by a security company hired by Global Affairs Canada in 2010,” a government official told the paper on condition of anonymity because of the volatile situation in Haiti.
Solages, who lived in Tamarac, a Florida city in the Fort Lauderdale area, does not have a criminal record, according to the Herald, which cited divorce proceedings in the US but no other legal matters.

The whole story is crazy and at least, happened at a time where crazier is happening everywhere. Still, did anyone watch the assault? DEA raid?
Story is that ONE of the TWO US citizen who was arrested and charged as being part of the assassination was a DEA Informant as well.

This is starting to smell like a DEA hit

One of the Haitian-American men arrested on suspicion of taking part in the assassination of Haiti's president last week had been an informant to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, a DEA official said on Monday.
Haitian authorities last week arrested two Haitian-American men, Joseph Vincent, 55, and James Solages, 35, and charged them with joining 26 Colombians in the fatal attack on Haitian President Jovenel Moise.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, declined to say which of the two men had been an informant.
"One of the suspects in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise was a confidential source to the DEA," the DEA official said in an email, adding that the suspect had reached out to the DEA after the assassination and that it urged him to surrender. "These individuals were not acting on behalf of DEA."

The suspect was not an active informant at the time of the assassination, a law enforcement source said.

He also said that asylum seekers from Cuba or Hattie would be considered for Asylum but NOT in America but would be relocated to a 3rd (unnamed Country)
Damn. I'd think asylum seekers from Cuba or Haiti arriving by boat, raft, etc., might, on average, have a more legit reason than those walking across our border with Mexico (regardless of their country of origin). And their numbers would be quite small, relatively speaking. Rather odd policy, imo.
