Capitol Police under fire again after evicting National Guard Troops and making them rest in a parking garage

Yeah, even with my military ties, I cannot get upset over this specific issue. Before hand, the troops were billeting in the halls of surrounding office buildings and with all the transition activity, they were told to move to the garage. It is like asking the construction crew to take their break outside instead of inside your house because they would be in the way of another crew that was actually working. But the bigger question is
why were the troops billeting in hallways of office buildings to begin with? Why were they deployed without any means of billeting? Several reports indicate they were sleeping on the floor and only then were cots brought in for them to use. Curious how they are getting fed or are they subsiding on MREs? The whole things was not thought out very well and begs the question as to just how capable is the Army in regard to emergency deployment.
