My understanding is that he and Wallace already have insurance because they were given clearance by the nfl hallway through the season. I remember it being mentioned on a pregame or something.

Pretty sure they got them right before Tylan got hurt.

Why not? We've done stranger things in bowl games.

in my mind, only after The Return, the most memorable play in the past decade.

It's being reported that Hubbard announced he will play in the bowl game, but he hasn't made a decision yet about next season.

I’m just happy that he cares enough to go out and represent OSU one last time. If he chooses to go to the NFL next year I’ll wish him the best of luck and root hard for him every week.

I think he is saying: TEAM, not me.

I respect him for thinking about his teammates/coaches and wanting to bring home a win for them as well as himself.

Chuba and Tylan both! They’ve both done a ton for OSU, they’ve both earned the right to be cowboys for life (and all timers at that!) regardless of what they choose.

Yes, he can get an insurance policy. What do you mean by not a traditional football player?
I think I was looking for not "typical" versus not "traditional". Product of Canadian HS football - a different game, and based on comments about him by others and his comments in interviews, a very solid team focused player that is literally having fun playing college football.

The potential NFL money is so big he has to think about protecting himself financially; I get it. Happy to see him planning to play in the bowl game.

It'll just be a matter of time till an announcement comes out that our best player will also be preparing for the draft instead. No Chuba will affect us more, trust me. Also lucky for you our other best player (Wallace) is already out and our starting QB is questionable. Fun!
I may go 1-3 on this unless Wallace can miraculously heal up in the next week. Crossing my fingers.

A&M is down to 1 scholarship rb. #2 tailback is a converted QB. Smoke says there's a fire in the locker room. Put your money on oSu moneyline. Going to be a long sad offseason for my Aggies.

Good Lord, you'd fit right in around here. You sound like half our posters.

I expect to control the line of scrimmage against their O line. Henson coaches there and he sucks. Great recruiter but was never impressed with his actual coaching.
If we will put pressure on Mond throughout the game, we can severely limit their offense. He typically doesn’t play well when pressured. But for some reason, it seems like in some games (OU), we don’t even try to get to the QB. This game is very winnable, but I could see Gundy getting out-coached yet again.
