well, congratz to those who laid the money down before the season started. WVU is now number 1 in the nation in rpi. Unbeaten, dominant.
Odds now are probably akin to duke or kansas. too late to get good odds now.

I’ll still give you the best odds to book your action. These stats mean nothing without you having the sack to lay money on it

`No one's laughing now. Sure, WVU is still an underdog to win it all, but it's a projected 2 seed with the consensus best defense in college basketball, as well as the top rebounding team in college basketball.

Should have got your money down early, when the thread started.
FWIW WVU hosts TCU tonight, a team that has never, ever, won in Morgantown. WVU is 13-2 against TCU since joining the Big 12. WVU opened a 8.5 favorite.

Keep talking. My offer stands. You should’ve gotten your money down early. No chance you laid anything down

I dont bet on WVU, it's not a good practice to bet on teams you're emotionally invested in. Like a stockbroker with inside information, I give others sound advice.

Then quit talking about betting on them. It’s literally your header for the thread.

Stockbrokers give advice about stocks to buy, without buying those stocks themselves.
I provided a free service to my dear friends here, and anyone who got their money down early has the current number 5 team in kenpom at like 10000 to 1 to win a title. so a 100 bucks would have went a long way.

LMAO. If we would've taken your advice every other year, we would've lost our a$$es. I can't think of a person who makes worse predictions than you. Please start an official service giving people betting advice. It would be hilarious to see how fast you go out of business.

this is only the 2nd year ive done it, so im batting .500 and last season went south due to injury, failed drug tests, and academic casualties, something no one could foresee preseason.

How are you battling .500? Your team won it all this season? Have I been in a coma and just woke up? What day is it?

I'VE BEEN SAYING IT:

Now that we are past the halfway point of the season, you can label West Virginia as national championship contenders. If you were to go to VegasInsider.com, you will find that the Mountaineers currently have the 5th best odds to win the national championship at 16/1. Kansas leads the way at 7/1, while Baylor and Gonzaga follow closely behind at 10/1.

Overachieving: West Virginia. Uh-oh. The nasty, suffocating, West Virginia defense has returned. Bob Huggins' crew has now forced turnovers on nearly 25% of its Big 12 opponents' possessions. But this is more than the league's top defensive team. The Mountaineers are also its top offensive rebounding team and they lead the league with a 52.7% clip inside the arc. With Derek Culver and Oscar Tshiebwe on the court, West Virginia's opponents have registered a 41.3% clip inside the arc. Picked to finish fifth in the league's preseason poll, West Virginia, at 4-2, could compete for the Big 12 championship and a favorable seed in the NCAA tournament.
