With the win over Arizona State, OSU improved its home winning streak to 10 games, matching the longest streak in school history. The only other 10-win home winning streaks came from 2002-03 and from 1911-13.

A win next week against Arkansas Pine Bluff would be the first time in the history of OSU Football to record 11 home wins in a row...

The last home loss by the Cowboys was an overtime loss to Texas on Oct 31st, 2020... OSU was 4-1 at home in the Covid shortened schedule that year, with the Texas loss being the only blemish.

Massey Ratings currently projects OSU to be a favorite in our 4 conference home games this season. The streak could possibly reach 15 if we were to win every home game this season.

If what happened yesterday (i.e., Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Baylor, Wisconsin, Alabama surviving) is an indication of what the 2022 football season might be like, this could certainly be our year!

Bedlam in 2020 was in Norman that year. Last home loss was against Texas that year with Sam and Tom Herman. Should’ve won that game but anyways.

HISTORY MADE TONIGHT....

* For the first time ever OSU has an 11-game home winning streak...

* Going for 12 next home game against Texas Tech...

* The win tonight gives Gundy an all-time 35-2 (89%) record against nonconference opponents at home.

The announcers of this game were surely giving Gundy a great deal of positive press about his record and influence on the development of the current football program.

I think he will win the remaining four home games this year.
