Wow! What a get for Iron Monk. Beautiful can. They make high quality beer so I’m sure this one will be delicious and crushable to fit the stadium environment.

So is it going to be generally available in stores, or only at games?? I couldn't really tell from the article.

I have a buddy that runs a liquor store and he already has it, but can't sell it until next Monday. He said he thinks it's going to be everywhere Iron Monk is currently sold. I'd assume they will be getting calls to expand even further now.

Judging by the social media reaction, this thing is going to sell unlike any craft beer the state has seen. I know they have a relatively robust brewing system, but I hope they're prepared. Pokes are ready to buy by the pallet like @Jalexjsmithj said.

Please don't be another IPA with a sh!t-ton of hops. Some of these brews recently are so hoppy I think I'm eating a pine tree.
Haha, great comment. But I think hops is like a drug, once you start down that path, you just can't get enough, so these IPA's keep getting hoppier, and I'm definitely an addict.

Anyone in Tulsa know if Iron Monk is sold in liquor stores here? I've never looked for any of their beers in this area, but I'd buy this ASAP.

The cans are awesome.

There is a smaller liquor store at 41st and county line that sells it so I’m going to guess many more do as well.

I'm fairly certain I've seen Stilly Wheat fir sale in Tulsa which means the others probably are as well.

Ok folks... Not to brag, but I've worked my connections and I have had 1890. It is incredibly smooth and still maintains what makes a craft beer craft. It is very crushable and will quickly become a fan favorite for reasons beyond just the can.

One detail I noticed that I don't think has been mentioned before; it's 5.2% alcohol. We were discussing that it's probably no accident and reflects our 52 national championships. Cool touch. Hopefully we run this thing up to be an imperial someday soon :D

Do some of the proceeds from sales actually go to our athletic department? Or are we just allowing Iron Monk to use the branding?

If it tastes decent it should make the game day choice an easy one.
