I gotta admit, I sold him short. I thought because of his size he'd carve out a role on special teams and on a few situational packages. Glad to be wrong on this one. I thought D. Harper had the better chance to be a regular rotation LB in the league, but see he's listed 3rd team on the Cowboys right now. Will be interesting to see how it plays out over the season, but I'm done doubting MR.

ESPN shows a 4-3-4 alignment and Detroit is showing a 4-2-5. Which I believe we'll see M-Rod when they're not in the Nickle package.
Makes sense! Super pumped for that young man! Always love seeing kids from the state of Oklahoma succeed in the NFL. Coached against him a few times in high school and he was phenomenal then as well!

If the preseason is any indication, MR will be in on high percentage running downs and be pulled out on passing downs, listening to their DC they have 4 guys that will all play significant reps MR will probably get the “start” but will have a close to even amount of reps with at least Barnes and anzalone, eventually you will see more of MR and Barnes as anzalone isn’t very good

Malcolm looked like he hurt his shoulder towards the end of the game on a goal line stand. Tapped his helmet to come out and had that hanging limp arm going on. Hope it was just a stinger.
