Les played in the north/south days.. best finish was 3rd in the south division. Finishes... 5th, tie for 3rd, 3rd and 5th. Conferences wins 2-6, 5-3, 5-3, 4-4 for a perfect 16-16.

But he beat OU twice.

If the allegations were true at the time LSU should have come forward, but you got to protect the brand.

“And you just don’t talk about it and you don’t say anything, you just kinda go, ‘Cuz we’re protecting LSU, we’re protecting our brand, we’re protecting our head coach, we’re protecting this, we love LSU so we’re gonna be loyal to LSU so we’re gonna do what we can to help it and try to fix it,’ ” the staffer said. "... I always felt like we always had to be protective, you know? You want to protect LSU.”

lol!

His last Bedlam game was 52-9. His last Big 12 finish was 5th. Going the right direction or the wrong direction?

You misunderstood me.. he was treading water at best. For some fans the only thing that matters is how many times you beat OU. Bob Simmons also beat OU twice. Should have put a smiley face in there.

What was Miles' best Big XII conference finish?
Les Miles finished 5th, 3rd, 3rd and 5th in the South with a 16-16 Conference record in 4 years.

The four years before Les Miles under Bob Simmons OSU finished 2nd, 4th, 5th and 5th with a 12-20 Conference record.

I'll give you three guesses to who was the Offensive Coordinator we finished 2nd in the Big 12 South?

Thats great that we may have a top ten recruiting class in Mike Gundy’s 16th season as head coach.
I am brutally hard on Gundy. I'm not crazy about his move towards conservative football. However, Miles was on track to wreak havoc, I have students that were in the recruiting process and even former staff that worked in the football offices at that time and I kept hearing Lester was in full mad hatter form. Gundy has done an excellent job of running the program that Lester was on the way to wrecking.

“Student workers looked like a bad bowling team.”

What does that even mean?

“We can’t hire anyone that is fat and ugly.” Gotta admit that made me chuckle.
