The decision of no fans is just home games in September. They “may” have some season ticket holders and students for OSU game.

I didn't know they had fans in the stand, I thought that was just an away scrimmage we all get to go to if we want
That was my point.. . .. how will the players be able to tell the difference between this year and previous years ?
sad part is, if they actually allowed fans they would probably have a ton of them in the stands just for people wanting to get out and do something.

They may actually have been embarrassed they were having trouble selling the 25% capacity.

Something tells me the woo won't worry them as much in basketball season, even if it is still at this level. And that's inside.

There's a joke in that story line somewhere, but I just can't find it.

Yet, that takes a lot of pressure off of KU fans to make that trip for Jayhawk football.
Both of them.

They still get to cash their media check like the rest of the B12, and chortle all the way to the bank.

It's a symbiotic relationship, as it gives the rest of the league another "non-conference" game they can mark as a "W" (unless you're Texas, of course ).

A few years back, Some friends and I were stuck overnight in Kansas City and decided to catch a KU home game; I called the ticket office and told them I need four tickets to the game, but needed to confirm the kickoff time.

The receptionist answered, "There's four of you right? We're flexible, what time can you get here?"
