Let me take a shot (pun sort of intended)
A Woodsman
A Glock
A 1911
A hunting rifle
And your fun gun
Close.

The 22lr is actually a little H&K knock-off faux-AR that’s just so damned fun to shoot!

9mm is a Springfield XD-M (lol... Glock... puke... sorry, but HATE the Glock grip angle. Completely unnatural for me)

45acp is both a Springfield XDs and a Rock Island Armory TAC 1911

30-30 is the Cowboy Rig, 100th Anniversary Winchester model 94

And then YES, the fun gun... that I need to get set up for hog hunting.

Makes me almost think about seeing how much I could sell some of my spare ammo for.... almost...
I really always wanted an Ak. After hem hawing for 5 years I finally was ready to take the shot. Then I found century arms. The American patent holder for AK production. Basic is $799. Prepandemic. It’s now almost 2k for a new one.

Meant to see what opinions were out there regarding remanufactured ammo. Hear horror stories of jams and squibs but looking online, all I have read say they are fine, especially for range use.

Thoughts?

Note that this question is due to remanufactured appearing to be marginally more available but there does not seem to be a significant price differential right now.

I worked in a prison for almost 20 years and we shot almost exclusively remanufactured ammo. In the thousands of rounds I personally saw shot, I can only recall two squib rounds. We shot .38 revolvers so I can not attest to jamming issues. IMHO, I'd say, if you can get your hands on it, remanufactured is fine.

Just found some .17 HMR at Walmart in Weatherford. They had four boxes, I bought two and left two. They had a box of 308 Win too. They said they just unloaded some other calibers off the truck but hadn't gotten them ready to go on the shelf yet.

Wish I could find some 7.62x39 that wasn’t a dollar a round. No matter how bad I want to shoot I refuse to pay that for it.

www.ammoseek.com

Have to buy in bulk but not too bad of you have the extra $$$. SGAmmo is based in Stillwater. Online only, no brick and mortar store. Have to pay sales tax if you are in Oklahoma.

I use ammoseek. Usually it shows up, then you click on the link and it is unavailable.

Most important question.... Why were you in Weatherford?
