In light of a President making an unilateral move without congressional approval to move $500B of college debt, I would say Dems are embracing progressive extremes. And that same President and party attempted to spend $3B on a program in December after a year of record spending.
Biden did a good job holding back the extremists and divisive groups in his party during his first year, but I think with his poor poll numbers he is ratcheting up his rhetoric to try to gain some momentum for the mid-terms. Unfortunately, if news reports are accurate ...I'm afraid you are going to see a very dark and divisive President tonight (well we won't actually see it because we will be watching the Pokes). Just like MAGA cheered on when Trump went low, Biden's progressive extremes will cheer him on.
Couple this with the news today at least 200 employees in the EPA were investing into companies directly lobbying them and had knowledge of the policy changes that would affect their investments and you have a ROCK SOLID case of the undeniable need to restrict all elected officials and their staff and spouses from investing while in office.
