"Baltimore attorney Marilyn Mosby, 41, has been indicted on charges of perjury and making false mortgage applications in the purchase of two Florida homes. Mosby allegedly falsely claimed she was facing COVID-related financial troubles to use her city retirement fund to help her buy the properties. She also allegedly lied on two mortgage loan applications by hiding that she had several unpaid federal taxes from over the years. The top city prosecutor was also accused of claiming one of her homes in Kissimmee was a second residence in order to get a lower interest rate. Despite the controversy, Mosby had previously been praised by Vice President Kamala Harris for her political role a progressive Democrat in 2017, when the VP was still a US Senator. 'When we march and we shout about what we need to do to reform the criminal justice system, we better understand that we gotta march and shout with our paychecks - and all of the work that we can do to actually make sure that somebody like Marilyn Mosby gets reelected into that office, to not only get convictions, but have convictions,' Harris said of Mosby at the time."

"Controversial political scientist Dr. Jason Johnson made an appearance on 'Deadline: White House,' where he proceeded to make the brazen comparison while discussing the relationship between former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party as the 2024 presidential election draws ever-near. Dr. Johnson labeled referred to Trump as 'the bad guy' and called the Republican Party itself a 'front for a terrorist movement.' 'If Trump is on the ballot in 2024, it's the easiest thing in the world for Democrats because you can always run against the bad guy,' Johnson said. 'But I think the bigger more dangerous thing, and I've been saying for a while, I'm working hard to never say "Republican Party" again because it's not a party. They're Sinn Féin to the IRA. They're the PLO to Hamas. They are a dime storefront for a terrorist movement.'"

"A shocking paper trail shows Nancy Pelosi's son, Paul Pelosi Jr.'s connections to a host of fraudsters, rule-breakers and convicted criminals. A investigation can reveal that Paul, 52, was involved in five companies probed by federal agencies. He was on the board of a biofuel company that defrauded investors, according to an SEC ruling, and whose CEO was convicted after bribing Georgia officials. Paul founded an environmental investment firm that turned out to be a front for two convicted fraudsters, documents reveal. He served as vice president of a company embroiled in an investigation of scam calls that targeted senior citizens. A medical company Pelosi Jr. worked for tested drugs on people without FDA authorization, the investigation revealed."

Not really shocking.

No, they've turned their back on you & Liz Warren's idiocy Bernie. Your own party, and the nation, have rejected both of you twice now in a national election process.

This is as out of touch as AOC's claim that the Dems didn't go far enough left in last November's elections.

Discontent over skyrocketing inflation is the most important issue for voters heading into this year’s midterm election, and Democrats are going to pay the price, according to Frank Luntz, a longtime GOP pollster and strategist.

While Luntz is a Republican, he tends to take both parties to task when he feels they’re missing the mark on an issue.

“We’re not just anxious anymore. This country is getting angry when they go to the supermarket, when they fill up their tank,” Luntz told CNBC on Friday. “They’re going to take that anger out at the ballot box in November,” with the Democrats’ slim majorities in the House and Senate at stake.

Many black Americans are leaving New York and California to seek decent wages and affordable housing in southern states, according to a Washington Post article that ignores the federal policy of importing foreign people to fill jobs and homes in New York and California.

“There is a noticeable lack of black people in these cities that were once the mecca for black America, for people fleeing the Jim Crow South,” the Post’s reporter told an interviewer.

The Post reported January 14 on the southern migration, which is now reversing the historic “Great Migration” of black Americans from the South to northern cities during the 1900s:

For the second census in a row, Chicago and its suburbs lost Black population, and has decreased by 130,000 since 1990. In Michigan, both the Detroit and Flint metropolitan areas lost Black population in absolute terms … Metro New York recorded its second consecutive loss in Black population, losing about 110,000 Black residents since 2000. In California, metro Los Angeles has lost 160,000 Black residents since 1990, while metro San Francisco has lost 90,000.
Many people are migrating from homes in sunny California and wealthy New York to southern states, the article shows:

The percentage of Black Americans who live in the South has been increasing since 1990, and the biggest gains have been in the region’s large urban areas, according to census data. The Black population of metro Atlanta more than doubled between 1990 and 2020, surpassing 2 million in the most recent census, with the city overtaking Chicago as the second-largest concentration of African Americans in the country after metropolitan New York. The Black population also more than doubled in metro Charlotte while greater Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth both saw their Black populations surpass 1 million for the first time

Silicon Valley billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya has said he doesn't care about China's human rights abuses of Uyghur Muslims in the country. 'Nobody cares about it, nobody cares about what's happening to the Uyghurs' he said in comments on his podcast.. Palihapitiya, is a venture capitalist and is co-owner of the Warriors and owns 10%. He made the comments on his 'All-In' technology podcast. 'Of all the things that I care about, it is below my line,' he added. Palihapitiya then attempted to walk back the remarks but was then further criticized for 'lacking empathy' in a post some claimed had been clearly written by a well-paid PR representative. The Uyghurs are an ethnic Muslim minority in China that have endured slave labor, rape and forced sterilizations.

And I mentioned it’s helpful to add the link. So, if it’s not hard and it helps others… you’re just being a jackhole by not adding the link.
The last one clearly quotes the Washington Post and the one before that CNBC, others are from polls which are clearly listed.

I'm not sure he's wrong on that statement, unfortunately.

There are a lot of people who speak out against such human rights violations while on the other hand profiting from it.

'Of all the things that I care about, it is below my line,' - Probably true for most of us. So many things to carry about these days.
