Amazing that we are 27 when we DONT have these sports:

Field Hockey
Mens Water Polo
Mens Soccer
Mens Volleyball
Womens Volleyball
Mens Rifle & Skiing
Womens Rifle & Skiing
Mens Fencing
Womens Fencing
Mens Hockey
Womens Hockey
Mens Lacrosse
Womens Lacrosse
Womens Water Polo
Womens Rowing
Mens Gymnastics
Womens Gymnastics

Also amazing that Stanford has the $$$ to fund each of these sports and be good at most of them.

Does golf count when it is finished in this? I assume not as I read the final ranking is at the end of April. I wonder why it wouldnt and it might help us a good bit if it did

Our softball team should help move us up....although baseball and tennis could bring us right back down.

I see most sports at OSU getting better next year, with the exception of maybe soccer. I don't know about CC, I think we have a senior graduating, but they could probably be pretty good again.

Might be why they have the most NCAA championships. Their endowment is the same as U Tx system at $12B with a small enrollment. They ranked nos 1 in endowment per student in 2006.

Soccer will be just as good if not better next season.

I hear a few criticize Holder as AD but this out come suggests he is getting a lot out of our resources. Great job Mike Holder and the various coaches and student athletes. Makes me proud to be a cowboy
Holder has hired damn good coaches, no doubt about that.

Shut up Gundy haters! I can tell you're going to jump on this one.

Carmichael has been with the program since 1996. I don't know if Holder promoted him to HC, but Carmichael has improved the program with his excellent recruiting. And what does he have to show recruits? Probably some of the worst facilities in the conference. It's really more a testament to his ability to recruit than anything else, which is a condition shared by most of our athletic programs.
