Daton Fix is representing USA at the Pan American Championships today. He won his first match against Puero Rico 11-0. He is the heavy favorite to bring home the gold. Go Daton!

If this is any indication of how dominant we are in this part of the world, 9 of our 10 wrestlers have either won Gold, or are wrestling for Gold tonight. Some (Like Fix) have not given up a single point. The only one that isnt (Zain Retherford) is sick and forfeited today.

It was tonight. Pin. Gold medal for Fix! 3 matches won in less than 4 minutes total.

The rest of the team did similarly well. 8 golds (out of 10). Thomas Gilman, Jordan Burroughs, and J'Den Cox and Kyle Snyder also teched or pinned all their opponents making 5 out of 10 that jsut flat smoked everyone. Nick Gwizadowski was only person not to win Gold that actually wrestled losing 5-3 in final match to Amar Dhesi (Canada) who wrestled for Oregon State.
