Looks like Arizona has a big offense with average pitching. 8-16 in league play, wow. We're going to have to produce some runs in OKC.

What are the chances of buying tickets for our game Thursday night outside the stadium? This will be my first trip to ASA stadium.
I bought one close to the front gate last yr. the guy was trying to get some of his money back since OU lost the first round and his son wasn’t going to watch OSU/JMU or the Bama/UCLA games

Interesting note here is that last year the loser of the 2nd round winners bracket games swap bracket before going to the losers bracket. I’m assuming that is the case this year too.

Ideal scenario, OSU wins 2 and OU drops that game and OSU has to win 1 out of 2 from OU to advance to the World Series.

2nd best option would be OSU wins 2, Texas beats UCLA, and OU beats Texas. Then OSU has to win 1 out of 2 from an unseeded team or #14 Florida to advance to play a best of 3 against OU.

Nightmare scenario. OSU wins the first game but drops the 2nd and OU wins 2. Then, OSU has to win a losers bracket game and then beats OU twice in a row.

Knowing this, would it make sense to save Maxwell for Game 2? Dropping Game 1 is less of a killer than dropping Game 2.

Ideal scenario will be both UCLA and OU get the L today and have both be eliminated by either NW or Texas….and we win out

Same format. Losers of games 7 & 8 swap brackets.

No need to save Maxwell, new format allows you to throw your ace multiple games. Wouldn’t be shocked to see her two the first two games.

Texas leads 5-0 after a RBI double by Mia Scott. She’s basically janae Jefferson 2.0. Elite freshman

Good point forgot about that. Looks like if you keep winning there is an off day between games all the way to the 3 game championship series.

Not sure I like that, puts a greater emphasis on the best pitcher rather than the best team, but works out well for us this year!

I like the format....you know have built in days in case of weather. Rather have that than cramming in games and playing at 2am. I think you'll see Day in a relief role, but this new format allows you to ride your ace, which I like
