They’ve made a conscious decision late in the summer not to sign any 2022 kids and focus on 2023 and 2024 kids. Of course that could change barring kids transferring after the season. I do know they plan on taking 3 kids for the 2023 class.
That's an interesting decision to keep your team imbalanced like that. There are currently 16 on the roster with 3 seniors and 5 juniors. If they do, in fact, take 0 in 2022 and only 3 in 2023 then there will only be 11 on roster without having any transfers in or out. I know the 2023 and 2024 OK class is supposed to have some stars in it so hopefully they land some difference makers.

it is no question…you also have to remember de Lapp and reeves could use their COVID year and return, which would max out you’re roster for next season assuming no one leaves of course.

2023-2025 is huge for okpreps players. They slews have a 2025 in-state commit locked up.

First half offense was awful! Cowgirls kicked butt in the second half! Can’t remember a game that changed 180 degrees like that game.
Missouri state looked Shell shocked at the end of the game. I believe that the Lady Bears thought they had it won at halftime. They scored 2 points in the third quarter. Very Entertaining game.

good win....39 points from the bench. Defense will be the trademark for this team. As long we find a way to score one more point than the opponent...things look fairly promising. Off the Vegas to face Green Bay & Tennessee.

Cowgirls took a L to Green Bay 57-54. Atrocious offensively shot 17% from the field in the first half. 28% from the field for the game. Down by 16 at half, cut it down to 2 in the 4th. A lot of fouls by both teams…a ton of offensive fouls by both teams. Credit Green Bay…sagged off players and crowed the paint and made this team shoot jumpers…couldn’t knock down open jumpers. Green Bay played 5 guards and took way too long to adjust. Probably should’ve went small from the opening tip

Cowgirls take another L...this time by Tennessee 80-55. Not much to say...another poor shooting night, translated to poor effort on the defensive end.

Letting your opponent shoot 60% from the field as well as shooting 52% from the FT line isn't going to cut it. Offense came alive though.....tough sledding for the cowgirls and looks like it will be for the rest of the season.

Offensively at the bottom of the Big 12 in almost every category. Not only are the Cowgirls at 55% of FTs on the season, they have attempted the fewest in the league so far as well. There are still a few games left in the non-conference to get some offense figured out. But definitely going to be a long year in the Big 12. Realistically could finish last, but I think probably 8 or 9 and no postseason invite.
