Man, I feel bad for those who weren't able to attend this game. Two quality teams going at it from start to finish and give the cowgirls credit..their mental toughness has grown throughout the season. The way these girls play for each other as well as the coaches is just awesome. Special shoutout to Kim Howard and the medical staff for keeping these kids safe with little interruptions this season. Would be nice to find an opponent to play with the upcoming two weeks off, but most P5 conferences begin tourney play 1st week of March. I also agree with Dave Hunziker and Scott Sutton. Game recognizes game.....

Final Baylor 70 OSU 51.....conference season is officially over and the cowgirls finish 13-5. Still a chance they can finish 2nd in the conference. WVU took a beating on the road to ISU. WVU didn't have their PG, and one of their post players left the game early. Combine that with 3 players transferring earlier in the month, and they have a small bench. They'll be limping to the finish line

Now we have a 15 day layoff.....I wish we could pick up a game...but I don't know if there's an opponent that isn't making up games or heading into their respective conference tournament in a week.

Solid chance of a 2nd place finish. WVU and UT are the only 2 teams who can match Oklahoma State in the standings. UT has 5 losses and host Baylor still. WVU has 4 losses and still travel to Baylor. Not sure the tiebreaker between any combo of OSU, UT, and WVU.

Would be ideal to pick up a game while the rest of the Big 12 finished out the season. But most conference tournaments will be starting next week for smaller schools. Big 12 rightfully scheduled this break for makeup games and need every day of it. OSU was lucky and never had to miss a scheduled game day.
