Texas tech was definitely game tonight...they wanted to win badly and based on Vivian Gray being in tears, this game meant a lot to her. They put up a quality fight, and pushed the cowgirls.
Gray shot 50% from the FT line. Three of nine from the field. Zero outside the three point line. Held her to half her season average.
Maybe that’s why she was in tears.
Cowgirls kicked the lady raiders a$$ twice.
OU upsets WVU on the road 72-71. WVU had over 20 TO's, kids in foul trouble, and only scored 5 points in the 4th. OU for a team that has only 7 players, they play extremely hard.
59-46 Cowgirl win. Went nearly 7 minutes at the end of the 2nd and start of the 3rd without a basket, but the defense kept KSU down as well. ISU Saturday and at Baylor next Wednesday to close out the season.
Beat ISU and clinch a top 3 finish in the Big 12. A top 5 finish is guaranteed as #6 Oklahoma has 7 losses and OSU can only have 6 on the year.
OSU will get just over a 2 week break while other teams are making up games to finalize seeding between the scheduled season (2/24) end and Big 12 Tournament (3/11).
Would be nice to get that win over ISU. We're currently at 28 in the NET rankings, ISU is 32--so that would add a nice quality win to the tournament resume.
