NCAA is allowing D1 Baseball teams to carry 40 guys on the roster and divide scholly’s up to 35 guys for 2022. The new NCAA transfer rule is going to lead to greater changes yr after yr with the roster.
Read somewhere they put him on a "load" stop due to the number of pitches he had thrown. Also know teams are clearing triple A spots towards the end of the year to protect other players with the looming rule 5 draft.
McCusker ended the season with a .324 BA and six HR. His team was a half game out of being in the playoffs. Impressive and hopefully drew attention from MLB scouts.

Sounds like the kid wanted to play power 5 ball, which I don’t blame him. 2023 class will be heavy position players b/c 2022 class is mass majority pitching due the pitching staff likely to be gutted to the draft and eligibility

Jon Heasley gets the call to the bigs and will make his debut tonight as Brady Singer goes to the IL. Heasley has been really good this season at the AA level.
