terrible bowl but fantastic matchup
The cheez it bowl changed and is not a terrible bowl now actually as they just moved the name. This game is what used to be called the camping world bowl and is actually pretty high up in the slots for the conference. It’s also the only bowl outside of the NY6 that features two ranked teams.

A lot has been made of the fact that the bowl streak is a testament to consistency but not necessarily excellence. Whatever. I'm glad even in the year that was an anomaly in every way possible we are going to keep the streak alive.
We have been to 15 straight bowls and 18 in the last 19 years.

In 120 seasons of football 62% of our bowl have been in the last 20.

Mix in a few punts on third down and that will really throw them.
That's to aggressive, it might throw off our scheduled runs up the middle
Just read a story on ESPN a bout the bowl game. They called Gundy an offensive guru. Thought you might want to know what most of the rest of the college football world thinks.

We're playing in a Bowl that is being played on a Weekday at 4:30 thousands of miles away from our recruiting base.

I suppose some of you might think this event is relevant, but for the other 99.9999999% of the world its conpletely not.

I suppose if anything about it is of any relevance, it could be the possibility of getting even one or two solid players from the state who might not have otherwise thought of us. It will still take a great game, but ya just never know around which corner you might influence the next Sanders, Bryant, Williams, or Okung.

The Game, 12/29/202 @ 4:40 CT, Most Future High School players are on " Winter Vacation" or some still doing virtually learning, so recruiting is still a play & on ESPN. Revenant, really - with Covid-19, nothing is revenant it seems, but these dudes, our oSu players, that fight through and do not get the C-19, the game is relevant, and for their comrades that got infected it means more that anyone can know.

OU plays on Wednesday, we play on Tuesday.

I look forward to you ignoring the game and thus not boring us with your senseless criticisms.
