Gonna be a little different tourney.

First & Second round are Fri/Sun & Sun/Mon this year. So if you're like me & take off of work on Thursday & Friday for the first round, it's Friday & Monday to take off this year.

Sweet Sixteen & Elite Eight set for Sat/Sun & Mon/Tues.

Final Four set for traditional Sat/Mon.

One thing that is noticeable is every year they always seed the big 12 higher than what they actually come out to be.

2018 was also a good year. Kstate made it to the elite 8 as a 9, tech made it to elite 8 as a 3 (had to beat a 2 seed) and kansas made it as a 1. So 3/8 of the elite 8 was the big 12. WVU has always played well.

I also made an edit on my last post, i meant to say that the committee gives the big 12 HIGHER seeds than what it shows on the bracketology

Just saw a CBS bracket with the Pokes at 5, an 8 on ESPN (with Gonzaga waiting should both win), and the most intriguing being Bracketville (purportedly one of the most accurate) which also has us as a 5 and Illinois as the 4. Short of a deeper run, it would be difficult to make the tournament any better than beating Underwood to get to the Sweet 16.

Oh if they can swing it they will 100% put OSU and Illinois in the same pod.
