I'm guessing the Roy Williams took away from national attention of running this press conference live. Good stuff for our program but certainly getting less attention since this happened right after Roy announced his retirement.

A little off topic, but with Cade being a top 3 pick, plus with Natasha Mack being a potential top 10 pick too. Has there ever been a school in college basketball, male and female, to have two potential top 10 picks in the same draft year?

Back in 2017, Markelle Fultz and Kelsey Plum both went 1st overall out of Washington. I don' think it happens very often though.

I’m excited about HCMB and our future. Also excited that we have what seems to be such a classy young man that is going to represent us for his time in the NBA. Just a win all the way around...and our basketball program has needed a win for a long time. Thanks to both Cade and Head Coach Mike for this!! Outstanding work!!

There you go. I don't follow the women's game at all, so I would have no clue but Uconn was pumping out the best women's player every year it seemed for awhile and the men's program had top5 player often after that.
