this is a certainty--no one knows where anyone is going.
The SEC may just be beginning to poach. Slive last go around said he saw no reason to stop adding at 16 if quality teams remained out there.

How will the rudderless BIG react to remain relevant? add kansas and Iowa state? really?
you think delaney would have made that response? you think Ohio State is going to be happy with adding kansas and iowa state when the sec gets texas and OU?

lots of dominos are going to fall. this is just the start. And the big 12 remnants dont need to rush into anything. we're under contract at a great price for 4 more years

While the PAC 16 is the most obvious play at this point, there is a small hope for the Big 12. Nebraska, BYU and anyone else we could poach absolutely would make up for OU/Texas. Maybe not Texas, but OU easily. Don't underestimate the nation-wide audience for BYU and Nebbish.

Florida won a national championship 13 years ago and is now on it's third coach since winning it.

Auburn won a national championship 11 years ago and is now on it's second coach since winning it.

OU last won a national championship 21 years ago and has had 1 coach since due to Stoops retirement. During that 13 year span they've won the conference 13 times.

The Big XII has been golden for OU having sustained success.
No doubt that OU/Texas are making a terrible decision for themselves, but this could honestly be a fabulous opportunity for us as long as we land in a power conf and a Texas-oriented pod. We could actually remain Texas-focused, detach from OU, and shut Baylor out. We just need Texas Tech, TCU, and Houston.

There is REAL opportunity here, along with very real risk obviously (staying).

Don’t let that GOR date fool you. Mizz and A&M didn’t wait until end of contract

I’d respect the hell outta WVU for doing that. I think you guys are probably in pretty good shape to the ACC. Geography and your existing rivalry with Pitt

My assessment as well. He had nothing to offer to bring in great schools. Look at the list of candidates from our last serious talk of expansion, not a single poach from a P5. That’s not on Mr B, that just show the Big12 weak position
He missed on Louisville and Pitt, and misread the room on OU/UT. He's done as Big XII commish one way or another
