Going to Waco for Revenge Szn this weekend. Been trying to figure out how they do things down there. Appears unless you have a $500,000 boat and dock pass, it might be pretty lame with the alcohol laws and spacing of campus.

Anyone have any experience/advice/OSU fan tailgate areas from previous years or plans for this year?

I was there a few years ago and if i remember correctly they were limited to very specific areas and just wasn't that great of a pre-game experience.

I remember some time ago before Baylor got good, but were about to become bowl eligible for the first time in forever, some sports media guys were talking about which bowl would/should invite them. One of them said "Who wants to invite Baylor to a bowl? All their fans will show up with $10 and a bible." Thought that was one of the funniest takes ever.

Their pregame is pitiful.

I'm BaldingBear not BaldingBot. The tailgating/sailgating scene at Baylor is still alive & kicking. A couple years ago Baylor hired some company (Tailgate Guys) to handle the tailgating; now everyone has the same 10x10 canopy, the same this, the same that. But you can still have a good time as you can see. The water in the Brazos River is also fine; its a muddy bottom river that gets stirred up after rains & such and the water looks brown at those times. There is a triathlon in Waco every year & they do the swimming portion in the Brazos with no complaints. Tri-Waco gets high praise from the competitors in fact. Just put your mind in a positive mode instead of a negative mode and the world will look a lot better to you. Peace Out.

We're just razzing you a bit. All in good fun (at least on my part:) I was at the BU/Iowa state game in Waco a few years back, and enjoyed the day. Really like the sight lines in McLane.

If your driving down to Waco from OKC there is 20-30 miles of lane closure bottleneck and it took 45 minutes to get through. It is around Lindsey. Better leave early just in case you are stuck awhile. We drove down to Frisco and will leave at 10 am to get to game by noon time.

Which part of that quote is the 'funniest take ever'?
Would it still be funny to you if the quote mocks a different religion?
"Who wants that University? They'll all show up with $10 and a Torah."
"Who wants that University? They'll all show up with $10 and a Quran."
Something tells me the other two 'jokes' would have ended with the media member being immediately escorted off the stage followed by a sincere apology from the network.
