nbadraft.net (not that I’m a big fan on their mocks) has 3 OSU players in the top 40 of the 2022 draft...
Interesting that all three of our guys are listed before a single Kansas player. Seems unlikely. Do people think we really have three potential first-rounders on this team? I believe Avery showed that ability at times last year, and I guess Bryce must have the potential (haven't seen him play myself). Kalib?

If these guys play themselves into first rounders, then our team is going to be really good.

If there are 3 FRP's on the roster, Boynton better get a conference title out of it.

But... yeah, I don't see a realistic way for that to happen. I could see two being possible.

I'm not convinced we have one first rounder, but it may be a weak draft. I think we have some borderline NBA guys, but that's about as strong as language as I would use at this moment.

I agree.

I don't see anyway Boone gets drafted. He needs to make a HUGE leap to enter that conversation. At this point, he's just an undersized rim runner with solid rim protection for this level of basketball. Guys like that are a dime-a-dozen at the next level. Not that I don't think he's talented. I think he's a very solid collegiate big.

Anderson is a 2nd round guy IMO, and Thompson has the potential to get drafted but he needs to demonstrate that he can live up to the high school hype.

Ugh, KU is going to be good.

Texas is getting better as well. Transfer from Minnesota is apparently leaning heavily towards heading that direction as well.
I’m still a tad skeptical there just cuz a team that’s all non-lead guard scorers with no defense isn’t how I’d plan my team, but the talent is undeniable. We’ll see how Askew develops

Not sure where else to put this since it doesn't seem threadworthy. Check out the 3rd video about this deck collapse in Nebraska. To tie it to the thread topic, sounds like Donovan Williams is lucky to still be on our roster and not medically retired.

No. Osu has really good talent. That said Bryce is most talented guy and right now late 2nd round. Avery Anderson is a great college basketball player now who has NBA athleticism. However, because he lacks size, Avery will be 4 year college player but that's good thing for us. Moncrieffe is next most pure talent guy but at 6'7 he will be 4 year college guy. Great thing for us too. Lacks ideal nba size but good college player chance get drafted late in career. That's what I see. Bryce is the 1 guy I could see if he makes leap this year could get drafted after junior year at osu. These 3 all have a shot. Boone is good but must improve alot. Like him as player just 6'8 guys like him everywhere in nba.

Oh as bonus. I hear we are getting 5 star 6'10 big from Memphis. He is a guy if he works hard could be drafted early 2nd round in couple years or after 4 years in school. Great job again Boynton. He's not as good as usc kid this year but next tier of college bigs. Has talent. He can help us!

I have read about this Memphis kid on this board couple times but I can't find anything where it says he's going here or we are even the leader for him?

For reference, Moussa Cisse is number 62 on ESPN's list (paywall warning) of top transfers and Bryce Thompson is number 33. Would be nice to get number one for a few different reasons...

Also, just becuase I am ever impressed with Beard, Texas has 5 of the top 32 transfers coming in. Including numbers 5 and 6 specifically, both of whom averaged some impressive numbers last season.

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b.../college-basketball-transfer-rankings-2021-22

Edit: No idea on where the info is coming from or where to find it.

I think he would be a good addition to our team, but where can I find something saying we are the leader to get him?
