He still loves ya buddy!
It even explains why woodchucks lack hair on their belly and why we can hunt game. Glooscap had seeked advice from grandmother woodchuck (known as Agaskw). grandmother woodchuck plucked out all the hairs of her belly and wove them into a magical bag. Glooscap had put all the game animals into a river, frightened that hunters would destroy the ecosystem. But grandmother woodchuck told him that humans would die without the animals. so Glooscap let the animals go, which is why we have hunting today.
It also explains the weather- Glooscap had taken it upon himself to capture a great bird that his god father Tabaldak had placed on a mountain peak. It generated bad weather just by the flapping of its wings! Well, ole Glooscap caught the eagle, and bound its wings. Winds soon ceased, and the air was so hot and heavy that he could not breathe! So, he loosened the bird's wings just so, and it was enough to generate enough weather so that humanity can survive.
So as you can see, we humans, from every culture in every corner of the world, have the capacity to really weave a yarn. That, or this really happened. Just dont piss off Glooscap, because he had the ability to turn people into trees.
So are you saying Glooscap loves me? or someone else? I'm just saying, we have a shitton of gods.
