What are they being investigated for? Letting people into the capital?

The role of law enforcement is that. They enforce the law. They don't create the law or interpret the law, they enforce the law.

In that situation, there was an attempted insurrection. You had people there whose intentions were to overthow a valid election and potentially detain and even kill politicians who they felt weren't loyal to their cause. The role of law enforcement there was to stop that from happening. They has brothers in arms that were injured and another that was killed. So if any of the Capitol Police acquiesced to the mob because they were sympathetic to their cause, they were derelict in their duty and should be fired and possibly prosecuted depending on how involved they were.

Honestly you should understand this more than anyone. You've stated multiple times that as a medical official you take actions that go against your beliefs. For the officers there it's the same situation. If you start throwing the bs you say here to medical boards your license will get revoked and knowing this you play it smart. Same thing for the officers involved here. No matter what they think it was their duty to defend the Capitol against the mob. If individuals shirked their responsibility then that is on them.

migrant children in custody triples

The Biden administration as recently as last week denied there was a crisis at the border

The Biden administration is set to release new border numbers this week, figures expected to show a wave of migration crashing down on the southern border in recent weeks -- just as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is urging its staff to volunteer to help with what it admits are "overwhelming" numbers.

The rage is abundant and clearly visible; it’s just disguised under the argument “It’s all Trump’s fault”

So if the election was invalid then their intentions would have been justified?

There most definitely is a creator of the universe and he most definitely cares who the American President is. He cares about you too Toker.
And what's more, not only do you actually think you have a personal relationship with the creator of the universe, you think it's a he. When by all accounts of the many myths about what the creator is, it's certainly not human. But we anthropomorphize anyway. There's nothing really consistent about the myths you take for truth, except for the fact that you think yours is the right one. Of course, everyone believes theirs is the right one.

I'll bet He found your joke about the VP being tapped hilarious.

Well, I feel better now. For the record, this isn't the first time she's been "tapped".
