So we really need ku to take a couple from TCU but that's not likely.....if TCU sweeps them, do they lock up the 1 seed in the tournament?
We are up 3 games in the loss column. TCU has 1 series left. OSU has 2. If OSU goes 2-1 against Tech and 2-1 against Baylor OSU will be the one seed. If they sweep one of them and lose the other series 1-2 they still are the 1 seed. Basically for anyone else to have a shot at the one seed OSU has to lose 3 games of the remaining 6.

Our magic # in conference play is 4, with 6 left to play. Win 4, and you're the undisputed Big 12 Champs. Kind of easier to look at it that way.
I was about to post the same thing. The Magic Number is 4 which means any combination of wins by the Pokes or losses by TCU.

Man, if KU could pull off just 1 upset....

Actually, the only other kink there is Tech. TCU could lose to KU, but if we lose the series to Tech, Tech is right back in play going into the final weekend. Now, we have the easier assignment, going to Baylor, whereas Tech gets OU the final weekend of the season. But, weird things can happen on the road in the Big 12, especially when it's the other team's senior weekend. You beat Tech 2 out of 3, you're looking great. Lose 2 out of 3 and you really have to go sweep Baylor on the road.
