I hope it's okay if I make this thread. I didn't know if the general threads were typically made by the mods. If so, feel free to delete this.

Boynton has already hosted a pair of high level talents for 2022, and is set to host another this weekend.

Black is visiting this week.
http://www.orangepower.com/threads/...anthony-black-visiting-oklahoma-state.276651/

I thought this was an interesting quote in that article:
“There’s a lot of elements to this thing now,” Boynton said Tuesday of the potential of a big class. “We’ll be our normal aggressive selves. The new staff asked, ‘Coach, how many scholarships do we have next year?’ The magic question. Just gotta get to 13 by next year. Between the portal and seeing 2022 guys for the first time in a year, there’s gonna be a different look to the recruiting cycle this year.”

Awesome! So now we'll add MJ Rice to the list as well.

A couple of other names to watch:

Keyonte George
https://247sports.com/player/keyonte-george-46059226/

Anthony Black
https://247sports.com/player/anthony-black-46094020/

I believe Black has scheduled a visit to Stillwater. I'm not certain about that, though.

Wow I was wondering the after effects of Cade, this is great being able to get so many of these high level recruits on campus plus many of them have us "warm" on their interests, will be exciting seeing if we can get one or even multiple.

I'm sure Cade is part of it, but a lot of it is from Boynton and his staff's relentless recruiting efforts.

Seems like he and his guys work really, really hard on that front. Just being visible, engaged, and active goes a long way for players and their families.

Not to mention having a guy who goes, hopefully, number 1 overall in the NBA draft. If that happens it could help open even more opportunities for us since they know they can be a #1 pick in the league while playing in Stillwater. The Kentucky's of the world try to say these guys can only go #1 etc if they play for them or others that are viewed like they are currently.

The 100s of millions of $s Kentucky players have earned also helps lol I love the aggression and attractiveness of these guys even visiting. It’s hard getting guys from VA and NYC to visit OK. Guys are getting planes and flying 3+ hrs to visit us. Speaks a lot of this staff. So thrilled we rewarded him with his extension because the NCs, Syracuse and St John’s of the world would be calling real soon

I wish I could like this more than once. Wait until they see our gym filled to the ceiling like the old days and people camping outside for games. Coach Boynton really has something special in the making here.
