1. How is this even a defense? "Why does a candidate, who has never been charged with deleting emails in the past suddenly have it pop up in an election?" That is dumb just like this defense.

Now here come lots of examples of Trump having issues with race in the past. Proving that the talking point of no issues of racism in the past is a flat out lie.

2. Trump's casino paid a $220K fine for discrimination in the 90's. They were proven to have a policy of moving African Americans and women away from high stake tables.

3. Trumps Real Estate Business got sued for discrimination.
https://www.npr.org/2016/09/29/495955920/donald-trump-plagued-by-decades-old-housing-discrimination-case

Quotes from the suit.
"He said, 'Well, I'm only doing what my boss told me to do — I am not allowed to rent to black tenants,' " Morse says.
The commissioner asked the building superintendent to take him to his boss. That turned out to be Trump Management.

4. From a book in 1989 written by one of Trump's Casino Presidents.
“I have black guys counting my money. … I hate it," Trump told John R. O'Donnell, the former president of Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, according O'Donnell's account in his 1991 book "Trumped!" "The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day."
Trump, according to O'Donnell, went on to say, "'Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that."
In an interview with Playboy in 1999, Trump remarked that "[t]he stuff O'Donnell wrote about me is probably true. The guy's a f----g loser. A f----g loser. I brought the guy in to work for me; it turns out he didn't know that much about what he was doing. I think I met the guy two or three times total. And this guy goes off and writes a book about me, like he knows me!"

Still waiting on that quote of Biden where he denounced white supremacy.

I've done several internet searches and can't find anything. I did find where he referred to a former member of the KKK as his mentor though.

“My message to the Proud Boys and every other white supremacist group is cease and desist,” Mr. Biden said in Alliance, Ohio “That’s not who we are. This is not who we are as Americans.”

The Proud Boys and White Supremacists are total non factors in 2020. The MSM are doing them a huge favor and making them famous when their actual clout doesn’t warrant that. Trump and Biden should both be asked to disavow BLM and Antifa as that is who destroys businesses and parts of cities.

"Do you condemn Antifa?" reporter Barbara Barr asked Biden.

"Yes, I do, violence no matter who it is," he replied.

Biden said most demonstrators are “peaceful protesters” who don’t require a response from the federal government. “Arsonists and anarchists should be prosecuted,” Biden said, and “local law enforcement can do that.”

What local law enforcement?

Yeah, having served under Obama and subsequently picking Harris would probably suffice as evidence for most people for the last 12+ years.
Well yea, he was after all the first African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.

Sounds a lot like Trumps comments at Charlottesville.

"You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides... and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the White nationalists, because they should be condemned totally".

In the US constitution it leaves power to enforce local laws to local law enforcement. It is a pretty wild thing.
Yes I know that, but many of the states and local governments controlled by Democrats have said they are defunding the police. Kamala Harris has skirted around the issue and has supported defunding, at least in part, the police. So, what local law enforcement?

So to you defunding is the same as abolishing it? That is a pretty dense way to look at things. In my smallish city they have done part time furloughs cause of COVID throughout the city departments (education, planning, police, etc). Seems like a reasonable thing to me. Revenue is down you have to defund things.

Well, in my smallish city we got along without a police force.

But as I pointed out in an earlier comment. Who exactly are the people that are the most in need of protection from law an order? I don't think it's your smallish city? Am I wrong?

It's the poor, it's the children in our cities and suburbs, small business owners, and especially those in minority owned businesses that have been looted and burned! And what has been the response of Democrat leadership in these hard hit areas? Defund the police!!! In other words ignore law and order while the most in need suffer!!!

Is that your position on defunding the police? Seems to be reasonable, to use your words, right?
