I don't think he'd choose to leave a top 5 program where his daughter is playing for Missouri, which has a good program but will be hard to reach the top in the SEC.
Hopefully the motivation came a few weeks ago, The biggest compliment you can gave any team/program is that they are overachievers. It's been a while since that could be said about OSU baseball.
It of course means very little, but Joe Lunardi released his WAY too early bracketology for next season, and has OSU as a 9 seed. It's at least a cause for optimism.

Football is of course the driving force, and it had a memorable season only marred by probably two plays. Beating Oklahoma, Texas, and Notre Dame in the same season is a big deal.

If they go to 12, you'll definitely have some 2 loss blue blood teams make it. But you'll also have team like OSU and Baylor have a much better chance. And if our conference is so doomed as some say it is, then you're going to need 12 getting in to even have a chance.
