I still remember 2019, Pokes win game 1 in Lawrence 27-6 and then drop the next 2 to the Jayhawks. Pokes save some for tomorrow and Sunday.

As long as the “Corndog” philosophy continues with keeping the same players in the lineup who fail to produce in the box and in the field, week after week, it will be 0-2 and barbecue in the tournament. Worst part, I don’t see much fire or pride with the team.

Odd right? Thought you were supposed wait and give up 11 before going to the pen.

Exactly, we had batters swinging like their were either playing Cricket or Badminton. Completely void of discipline in the box by so many last night. GW would have kept them all in the cages until the bus left this morning.

Watching Troy Glaus putting on a hitting clinic against everyone in the regional, even Tim Hudson from Auburn got lit up.

I see about 4 starters that need to be benched and lets give others the chance to show what they can do. Time to eliminate complacency.

Just make sure you swing for the fences on every pitch, it should work out well.

Wear them out by making them running the bases then they’ll be too tired to swing.
