Finally got the lockup issue fixed on my 2000 camaro. That is the car that has a 383, f1 procharger, 4l80 swap, etc. Figured it was something in the tune. Had a buddy come over and we started trying different things in hptuner. Loaded some stock 4l80 stuff in it and got it working. Finally laid into it. The fastest I had been so far was 55 mph. At that speed, getting on it enough to downshift, it will spin the tires until I get out of it. I usually stay in it for 5 seconds or so. By that time it has gotten pretty squirrelly. Since the converter locks up I decided to lay into at 70 mph for all she was worth. With 530lbs of men in it at 70 mph and a base, safe tune. It still spun them. Should make some decent power when the tune is done. I'm going to put a meth/alky kit on it before I do anymore full throttle stuff. Also switched the car in my sig to hydraboost since the cam doesn't create enough vacuum.

Nice! I'm having an issue getting my 2000 Camaro to start right now.

Nothing fancy, but I owe $0 on it after paying cash in September... Cadillac STS. Does have over 300 HP and will hit 0-60 in just under 6 seconds.

Still, $0/month payments :)

Only problem, I had a deer run out in front of me, $6000 in damages. Still in the shop!

Gundy's Rattlesnake Hunting Lease
Early in 2017 my F-150 with 280k miles finally went belly up. Instead of replacing the transmission, I figured the time had come to get into a new truck. Ended up going with a 2015 Ram 1500 crew cab.

Looking at truck caps right now and am considering ARE and Snugtop. I've ruled out Leer, but can't figure if the Snugtops are worth the premium. Seems like quality control is a crapshoot for all of them.

Any thoughts on those?

I got the denali 20" wheels mounted on the beater today. Needless to say, the 391,000 miles has done a number on the suspension. Tomorrow I will paint the drop spindles and get them ready for install. Still need to pick up hubs, new rack, calipers, pads, and braided brake lines. Also got the sway bar mounted on the SS. Going to try and get the alignment done monday morning.

OSUFire, details?
It is Cerakote which is a baked on Ceramic coating. It was first developed for Firearm coating and now I'm finding other things to coat as well, including golf clubs, RTIC & YETI cups, ect.

you can check out the other thread "My golf game might suck" and it will show some other things I have done that are OSU related.

I am accumulating a rather decent pile of parts for my off-road rig...

Bilstein 5100s, Dynastar rear spring spacer, Spidertrax 1.25” wheel spacers, and body mount chop got installed a couple weeks ago.

Coming up is 5 new TRD beadlock style 16s with custom pc’ed rings, BFG KO2 285/75r16’s, ARB Snorkel, 40” Rigid Radiance light bar getting mounted up top between the front rack legs, and a brand new white grille (because heritage) that’s going to get some amber Raptor style lighting as well. Plus some interior mounts (fire extinguisher and flashlight) and matte black hood anti-glare vinyl going on.

Think I need to cool it for a bit after this surge.
