Stupid about AGW!!
That is an incredible amount of rationalization. I mean, wow, just wow.

I'm trying to think about my life as a white person and the times I have been accused of racism, which for all of us is at least a few. And, now, the times that I thought yelling "WHITE POWER" and raising my fist was an appropriate response because, you know, that would obviously just be sarcasm. LOL. This board is truly unbelievable sometimes.
Trumpers will justify every damn thing he does. Our president LITERALLY tweeted someone saying "White Power" and people are defending it. It boggles the mind the level of mental gymnastics that some people are forced to undergo day in and day out to justify Trump and they continue to do it

If Pence or Mitch McConnell had tweeted that video they would have already had to resign

If Pelosi or Schumer would have tweeted that video they would have to already had to resign

If a Gov of a state had tweeted that video...their state would be on fire right now with riots

But, Trump does it and people run to his DEFENSE.

You are in denial, that statement was as clear as day.

He has a lengthy history of saying things that are racist or have racist undertones. This is just another chapter in a lengthy book. At best, he is a racist sympathizer, at worst, a racist piece of shit.

If you want to associate with that it is your business, but I am going to judge the hell out of you for doing so.
And that is what you and @steross dont understand. There are a lot of independent thinkers that comprehend and understand what is going on. I challenge you to find one, just one post that I have made on this board that shows support for Trump or wanting to ”associate with that”. We just realize that you don’t have to be stupid and view everything as an “ist”.

I get that you and others have a severe case of TDS. There are a lot of people out there like you. But be smart about it. There are a lot of things to go after Trump about - he opens himself up to that. But to call him racist is lazy and lacking evidence. Making false claims just makes other ignore any legitimacy to your claims.

Trump retweeting the video was wrong. But to say it was obvious the guy was yelling white power is disingenous. I don’t think you even believe Trump saw that before he tweeted it. It does show Trump needs to pay more attention to what he sends, and it does open himself up to ridicule, but claiming he sent that out because of what the guy said is a stupid argument.

You missed the point. If you vote him into office, you have associated with him. You only get a vote. You don't get to only choose some parts of Trump.

It doesn't matter if you are voting for someone so incredibly incompetent that despite having multiple "oops, that looked/sounded racist" that he did it again, or if he did it on purpose, it is associating with it.

Let me ask you this. Is this a final straw for you on his accidental racism? I mean, if in September he does yet another thing that appears racist but was an accident or like "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" wasn't really meant to be racist will you again accept the "Sorry, just an error" or is there ever a time that you will consider that these repeated errors might not be accidents at all but are a dog whistle?

If voting against a candidate that appears to be either racist or courting racists is TDS, then, yea, I have it.

It's like a big ol' game of "Who's more racist"?

1) retweet a video where some clown is spewing his own racism, but it's not the intent of the vid

or...

2) openly vote for/support racist segregation policies for decades (and I quote ""Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point.")

One shared a tweet... One actually said it themselves.

*And I personally would like to see them both just disappear from politics. For ever.

The thing is, there is a candidate who is not racist at all. Her name is Jo Jorgensen and on top of that, she is ideologically consistent.

Accidental racism??

Is this a real thing that libs are now claiming? Hard to keep up with the many phrases of faux outrage. Is this like white privilege or systemic racism or cultural appropriation? LOL

A couple of posters only see and hear what they want. And, oddly, make up stuff they don’t.

I 100% agree with your last sentence as well.

I have no idea what "the libs" say. I said it only because you guys keep claiming he is not doing any of this on purpose and they are all just accidents.

But, nice job avoiding answering the question that you do not want to have documented as we both know there is a high likelihood it happens again, no matter what you want to call it semantically.

What's your evidence that Biden was prepared for the pandemic? What exactly did he do that filled you with confidence in his abilities to handle such a crisis?

This is the funny thing to me. There is a lot of stuff about Trump that I dislike but his reaction to the pandemic isn't one of them. I actually rate that as one of his better accomplishments in office.

Much of the federal response was based on the CDC and would have been EXACTLY the same regardless of who was president. Trump went beyond that. Stopping flights from China just 1 month after the virus was known.....a move roundly criticized by the Dems by the way.

And I don't think Hillary or Biden or any other career politician could have mobilized businesses to help the way Trump did. Of course it's all opinion and everybody is going to believe whatever the hell they want. As usual.
He isn't Trump. Any competent person capable of being in the office would have been more prepared for this than Trump.

Bush recognized the possibility of a global pandemic and had people far smarter than him come up with a plan for it (not knocking Bush's intelligence-presidents do that all the times). Obama was handed the plan and guess what, most people slept through H1N1. Obama handed the plan to Trump and he wiped his ass with it. And he continues to do so.

Regardless of political affiliation, any other leader would have organized a level headed federal response. Instead we have someone who said the states are on their own and then incited resistance to policies the states came up with when it was politically advantageous. As this is becoming worse, he seems to be ignoring it. It's insane.

Biden would have had a plan. Hillary would have had a plan. Cruz, Rubio, Yang, Kasich, and every other person who formed an exploratory committee in the last couple of decades would have had a plan. Yet people continue to defend this dipshit over this because iTs noT soCiaLisM or heR emAilS or stupid crap like that. We are dealing with a pandemic because of the virus. We are dealing with the death and economic chaos because of who we elected. And a significant portion of the population wants to do it again.

Biden literally called black kids roaches when he gave his famous corn pop statement a couple months ago. Biden literally supported writing a constitutional amendment to make segregation part of the constitution. I could fill pages with racist crap Biden has said just since the start of his campaign.

If your voting based on this type of thing you better abstain this election.

Nobody is defending Biden, certainly not Biden from the 1970s.

But, looking at today. Who do you see as the candidate favored by white supremacists? I mean, if Biden is pro-segregation etc, wouldn't they be jumping at the chance to vote for him? Why do they nearly always support Trump?

Your funny. The plan got published it was no plan at all. Do what the CDC says. That's what Trump did.

You better not vote in 2020 then. By your standards you get to vote for a soft racist in Trump or a flaming racist in Biden. Tough to choose who you are associating yourself with.

Again, if this is true, why are all the white supremacists on Trump's side? Why are they not all flocking to Biden?

You are making up your own facts.

There are plenty out there defending Biden. Just like there are plenty out there defending Trump. Neither are really that "defendable". So it just cracks me up that only one of them that gets called a "racist" daily in the mainstream.

One of them is pumping out Racist crap on a weekly basis.

Until Biden tops the "White Power Tweet" then Trump racist acts will dominate the news cycle
