Call me crazy, but a billionaire helping take out the leading crazy socialist is money he probably sees as well spent.

I'll give Bloomberg all the credit in the world for just standing up & saying Bernie & Warren are crazy, & that their proposed policies are economic disaster.

Regardless of everything else, the dude deserves credit for bringing some sanity to the Democratic dialogue. Paved the way for Biden to promise 4 more years of Obama.

None of that seems worth $500 million though.

The impact of any Russia social media campaign in 2016 was probably zero.

So do you believe propaganda has no effect? Seems strange that so many extremely successful regimes have invested so heavily in it throughout history. But you're probably right, zero effect.

No it has an effect. Just look at how many idiots believe MSNBC and the Russia hoax. Works great on the weak minded. How else would one explain Bernie Sanders supporters?

Probably? No it’s definitely zero. It’s amazing how a few internet trolls have the left outraged yet an entire media machine being 95% in the bag for one side is totally fine. Anyone that believes Russia had even a scintilla of impact on the ‘16 election is a complete and total loon.

Sure propaganda has an effect. Just look at Exhibit A - Bernie Sanders.

At the end of the day, no foreign interloper can come close to spreading the kind and amount of propaganda spread by the candidates themselves and the easily duped media.

You're either really naive or hoping everyone else is.

I think the overall impact is overstated but that dude whose Facebook friends with your 70 year old slightly racist uncle and shares 200 political memes per day probably isn't a real person.

I somewhat see where you’re coming from, but he also bragged about how great he is at “creating jobs” within 5 minutes of also puffing himself up over how many power plants he’s responsible for shuttering. Guy has cost more great middle class jobs than the rest of the folks on the stage combined. Glad to see him gone, and with a lighter wallet too.
