I wish he would have made the same comment but added his opinion on if we should do it or not.

And, for all of the whiny congressmen, piss off. Congress is the body that declares war. If they want to continue to fight war, then, declare a damn war. All of these wars that we fight without any declaration for endless amounts of time with no national strategy are the problem.
It reflects this country didn't learn much of anything from the Vietnam War, other than the draft needed to be abolished.

Sen Lindsey Graham and Dem Sen Chris Coons are demanding an immediate debriefing from all Senators on Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria ...They also requested DOD, State Dept and Intel Community to all provided a classified briefing on the decision as soon as possible

We are concerned that this was an abrupt decision taken in the face of reported opposition from military and diplomatic advisers, and that thousands of hardened ISIS fighters and thousands more ISIS supporters currently in detention may become free to fight again as their Kurdish captors turn to defending themselves against a Turkish incursion,” Graham and Coons wrote in a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.).

“We believe that it is imperative that the Department of Defense, State Department, and the Intelligence Community provide an all members classified briefing on this decision as soon as possible,

Biggly. Didn’t vote Trump nor support the majority of his decisions. This one I do. We have/had no business being there. Yes. It was satisfying wiping out a few hundred Russian corporation mercs but other than that, it’s the right play.
Want to help the Kurds? Give them weapons. More and more weapons. It’s what we used to do.

How many troops has Trump brought home? How many are now completely out of Syria?

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.): "Pray for our Kurdish allies who have been shamelessly abandoned by the Trump Administration. This move ensures the reemergence of ISIS. Will lead effort in Congress to make Erdogan pay a heavy price."

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.): "A Turkish military advance into Syria threatens to halt momentum against ISIS, directly assaults our SDF partners, and could give the likes of al-Qaeda and Iran new footholds in the region."

GOP House Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.): "Impossible to understand why
@realDonaldTrump
is leaving America’s allies to be slaughtered and enabling the return of ISIS."
