United States Representative is one of the most lucrative jobs on the planet and writing for Time magazine is not exactly poverty. Heck AOC is only 28, she's barely experienced life as an adult yet, and she'll be a millionaire by the time she's 35. Not seen prosperity? What the absolute heck is this person talking about.
The basic problem is that capitalism has created so much prosperity that some young people don't even understand the meaning of the word anymore. Capitalism has produced such a high quality of living that young people see it as just normal.
And yet people like this would destroy all of that ensuring that future generations define prosperity as getting enough bread and toilet paper for the week. smh

Yeah, Alter's parents are both rich. She didn't grow up in poverty.

The problem is they equate not getting everything they want with being in poverty.
