He has done quite a bit to downplay concerns over the pandemic. He was basically calling on people to protest at state capitols a few weeks ago. Either his supporters don't buy into his bs or he has a lot less supporters now.
I didn’t vote for the guy last time. Actually I’m proud to admit I didn’t vote for any candidate. Left it blank. In my opinion they were both on the same moral compass. The way it’s looking right now I’ll probably be doing the same this year. One thing we did learn from 2016 any guess on the outcome is complete nonsense. It’s hard to believe anybody on tv will report the results of a poll with a straight face. They all looked like complete idiots last time and now they are willing to go down that road again?
You never answered. Are you attending the game or not?

Have you tried the new cherry wood Kingsford? I think that would make for a great fish smoke.

Thanks for the tip!

I should look into that. I haven't used a charcoal grill in years but got one mid lockdown to try something different this summer. I wanted to get more experimental than I have been but recent events haven't exactly been conducive to spending a lot of time at the meat counter thinking about what I'm going to do next.

This was my 2nd attempt at fish. Grilled salmon was ok but it wasn't anything I can't recreate in the oven.

For the tilapia I treated it like ribs, and with the longer cooking time plus swimming in butter which was also absorbing the smoke and it was as good as the ribeye I made today.

No kids this weekend so I made it spicy but I'm going to try it again with lemon pepper or maybe a local pork run that is perfect on everything. I'll have to check out the cherry briquettes though.
They also have a mesquite and I think hickory. Haven't tried them yet but I think they'd go good with chicken and beef respectively.

It's easy to say I'm voting my conscience when you know the outcome in your state. If you lived in Florida or Arizona are you voting 3rd party?

To answer your question, I'm a big college hockey fan. I had tickets on the ice for a conference playoff game the weekend sports were shut down. The Mavs were ranked 3rd in the country at the time and were a legit frozen four contender. If I get the same tickets in October I'll be there. I'll be wearing a mask if we are in a situation where it's still recommend, but I'll be there.

Hey thinking about this for a couple of minutes and if your next question is would you do it from the nosebleeds or stream the game on flo it becomes more ambiguous.

Part of my live experience there is because I can score really good tickets for a dominant college team cheaply. I'm essentially courtside for college hockey's version of Gonzaga. I'm not a local so no ties to the university. I just started going a couple of years ago and lo and behold the local university has a juggernaut in that sport. If they were average and I'm sitting in the 300 seats maybe my answer changes.

And that is the thing that Trump has to be concerned about. If he has insane popularity then people will brave whatever to be a part of it. If everyone is kinda meh, some will be there but most are more willing to stay at home and either watch or catch the highlights when they have a chance.

Recently, I realized I was wrong. I thought back in 2016 Trump was marginally better than Hillary. This has not aged well. The guy has moved the Republicans toward authoritarianism in a major way. If Hillary were elected, there would have at least been resistance towards her brand of it. Now? No one resists it, and simultaneously, the left also has a rise of authoritarianism, albeit to a lesser extent. I genuinely fear the direction the country is heading.

I will, for the 3rd election in a row, be voting Libertarian. I encourage everyone else to do also, as a 5% would open up every ballot in the country to the libertarian party. Something needs to happen to avert sure disaster and bring some hope back into this situation.
This x infinity.

This two-party nonsense is destroying us.

You didn't read this very well did you?
I did. Do you have a better idea as to what motivated BOK management to put a stop to filling the place up, if true, other than some sort of corruption? Maybe Trump better tweet about it. He always wants to put the blame on somebody else, other than himself.

Trump campaign staff might have been short handed, but they should have kept closer watch over what was going on, if allegations are true. If it cut down on people getting the virus, maybe it did some good.

I’m kind of curious what the answers may be on this. Lets say last night was a scheduled OSU basketball game at the BOK and the there was a threat of protestors due to Gundys OAN shirt and spike in Covid cases. How many of you would have attended?
Based on the Covid risks and the possibility of rioting and violence that people were predicting no way I would go.

By the way, I’ve heard from 2 friends that they had tickets to the show and couldn’t get in for whatever reason. It’s odd that we now find out they weren’t at capacity. Maybe they were limiting it due to social distancing? I’m not really sure.

I'm sorry but the Democrats are the very definition of authoritarian. Cuomo and deblasio have people tattling on their neighbors for playing at parks and attending school. Oh wait. That's mostly Jews they are being harsh with. Not a good look at all.

Lyndsey Graham and Mitch McConnell are every bit as bad if not worse. I mean, they have authored and/cosigned bills to have hardware backdoors on all devices and to make encryption illegal. That would be nationwide destruction of any privacy we have left.

Not to mention the idea is mind bogglingly stupid. Why not just give the CCP the rest of our trade secrets?

Have you seen pics of the rally? Everyone was crammed together on the lower level, there was no social distancing going on.

I just early voted for Biden, put a coexist bumper sticker on my car, gave all my money to NPR and I'm driving to Seattle to join CHAZ.

Kind of like at the on Friday Juneteenth concert Friday night, the protest a few weeks ago, church's on Sunday, bars in Tulsa, Restaurants in much of Tulsa...we've been open for a while...this one event didn't instantly cause our spike in positives per case nor our increase in hospitalizations. In fact most cases have a longer incubation period than that. It's a combination of things that is causing the spike. But I do agree with you that it was irresponsible to hold the rally, the protest, and even non-socially distant church services...because...hindsight is 20x20.
Yet I saw a story this am that implied it was the Trump Rally...and it was signaled out as a sole spreader...agenda?

Btw, I forgot...ALL the Casinos are open...that has to be a big time spreader. Let's be careful out there...we can have fun, just be responsible.

One of the main reasons for the pitifully low, embarrassing turnout for Trump’s rally that the media is completely ignoring is the fact that potential attendees arrived at the BOK Center way too late because they were living on Tulsa time.
