Trump ditches 144-year-old postal pact that boosts Chinese retailers

Thought this was interesting since I listened to a podcast talking about this exact thing not too long ago.

Episode 857: The Postal Illuminati

Long story short: This international postal agreement allows China and other countries set artificially low postal rates to make their products dirt cheap for Americans. So, pulling out of this treaty is a great way to level the playing field since right now it's cheaper to mail something from China than it is to mail it across town. On the other hand, now we will have to negotiate these postal rates with China and every other country, so I imagine that will make all international mail more expensive for us.

It is actions like this that show why we needed a person without strings attached to be the President. He is not worried about who he makes mad in DC, he is focused on winning for the US as a whole. And it makes the former power brokers seethe in anger.

Want to really make DC mad? Make them actually live by the same rules they set for the rest of us. They had to change the rules for Obamacare because they quickly figured out that people could not afford it and they would have to fire some staff. Cant have that. Changed the rules

How many more centuries old laws are on the books that can and should be repealed? Hundreds? Thousands? What exactly have the Reps and Dems been doing the last 100 years except padding their bank accounts and those of their buddies. Vote. Third. Party.
