Specifically what do you purchase that has gone up as a result of tariffs?
Dollar Tree and Dollar Store are raising prices right now and will continue through this month they announced today citing tariffs as reason

https://www.syracuse.com/business/2...sing-prices-above-1-due-to-trump-tariffs.html

The CPI of small appliances and laundry appliances, furniture and auto parts has already increased citing tariffs as reason

The National Association of Home Builders has reported the tariffs have already increased pricing in the housing construction market by $1billion citing tariffs

Luggage prices have increased 5-10% since the start of Jan 2019 per the Travel Goods Association which imports 82% of items from China citing tariffs

Backpacks are up 5% so far and estimated to raise another 10% to 15% citing tariffs

https://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-tariffs-consumer-price-effect-20190514-story.html

And since you asked...yes I have purchased backpacks for my kids this year and luggage for my own work travel (thanks American for destroying my Carry On) and they were more expensive.

if he gets the Dems to move on wall funding to limit immigrants and stop the tariff, then he may be looking more like a stable move from an unhinged genius.
Why would the Dems move on anything? They will hammer on the Tariff and the increase prices of Goods and tell voters "Look how Trump is backdoor taxing you" and make it front and center in their campaigning.

Until Trump cuts the Aid $$'s to these countries...and by significant amounts, the Dems will sit back and tell American voters to look how Trump's actions have affected their Pocketbooks

They can't hammer the point it too hard, with the booming economy, a great many people are still at a net positive, even with the tariffs.

Plus, every policy the Dems have will require tax increases. So even if they get rid of the tariffs, they will be replaced by taxes.... people's pocketbooks aren't going to do better with a Dem in the White House. We're screwed either way in that regard

every single thing has go up so much in the past 2 years, it's almost impossible to say what is caused by tariffs.

it's almost prohibitive to even eat these days. Groceries are outrageous, dining out is prohibitive. etc.
Maybe in California. In Texas, food is dirt cheap. Almost all of our products have reduced in price. Milk, eggs, etc. are as cheap as I've seen them in 10 years.

& then sane people might actually also look at what the Dems are proposing, too.

got it....it's not real. good to know.

These 20 common grocery store items are driving up the cost of your bill the most

Is that my bill? Eating out at full-service restaurants is getting more expensive

That's an excellent unbiased source of information. It gets pretty bad when USA Today is all ya got. I'll go with $1.99 milk and 0.69 eggs along with grocery bills that are cheap as based by my own knowledge of local prices.

https://www.foxnews.com/world/isis-plot-westerners-mexico-border
A chilling confession from a captured ISISfighter has shed light on how the terrorist group intended to exploit the vulnerabilities of the U.S. border with Mexico, using English speakers and westerners to take advantage of smuggling routes and target financial institutions
Made all the more scary considering it has now come out that TSA has been letting illegal immigrants released from custody, fly without proper identification. If true, this something that Trump can and should put a stop to......which of course will lead to cries of racism from the left and their media.

The rising price of food goes to show you why the minimum wage needs to go up to make it easier for low income people to buy food and everything else that has been going up. Even the Wal-Mart CEO agrees on that. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/05/walmart-ceo-federal-minimum-wage-is-lagging-congress-should-act.html
LMAO and then the food prices will subseqently go up. What will you do then? Raise minimum wage again? Well then they will just raise the prices again in a never ending chase of catch up.

I stopped making minimum wage 1-month after starting my first job. If you're making minimum wage, learn something and get a better job. It's not that difficult.

yeah... that's yet another fools argument. When are you going to stop the flatulent spewing leftist demagoguery you keep trying to force on the suspicious minds of this site ?

you didn't even attempt to present a link between minimum wage and poverty.

The Obama Administration long ago removed the price of food from the poverty standard.

If you had a sole wage earner making minimum wage supporting a family of four, then you might have a point - but you didn't even try to establish that, or attempt to show if it is even likely.

Minimum wage serves two purposes 1) keep people from getting entry level jobs and prevent competition to union workers, and 2) increase the wages of union works, who's contracts are typically tied to the minimum wage (on a percentage basis).

come on dude, do you only know one song? It's getting really old
