Did you even read the article.

There is exactly 1 U.S. company that can do the work and he contacted with them. Somehow this gets spun into working with the Russians when the reality is the company is in economic trouble and may not be a good supplier albeit they are the only option. How stupid can the press get when spinning stuff.
No the article said the company didn't qualify to do the work (despite the Admin claim they could which the GOP rep pointed out they were not qualified for it) and the company buys all their enriched Uranium from Russia.

The company (former US gov't entity) was privatized under Clinton, signed a 20 year deal to buy uranium from Russia (TENEX) under Clinton (Megatons for Megawatts) and extended that deal under Obama. They are the only US entity with the experience to handle the work, and the fed gov't requires a US company to perform this work due to supply for US military. The Senator said their previous performance was poor and they haven't paid the fee to renew their license, not that they were not qualified....in November they signed a deal to supply $110 million of nuclear fuel to EU countries.

They are contracting to enrich U.S. uranium for the military. The spin on the article is unreal.

Of course they buy Russian uranium to fulfill other contracts, thanks to previous admins Russia now controls most of the world Uranium supply where else are you going to get it.

I have to say I'm having trouble understanding how the left is comparing this to the Clinton scandal. If anything, this just exposes how little they know about that scandal.

It also exposes how little most of folks on the right know about it. Neither of these really qualify as a "scandal". People just believe what Sean Hannity or whatever the equivalent is on the left tells them. Most of the people still think Russia is shipping US sourced uranium back to the Russian motherland. They also think it was within Clinton's power to approve that deal. Which is why they believe all the bullshit about the dots Hannity and other idiots on the right try to connect.

Ah horse shit. Everyone know that if you have a strong opinion on something that it automatically makes you an expert on it.
