Absolutely agree 100%. They’re getting a free pass and it’s bull crap.
They went 12-0, that's not a free pass. They could have joined a conference and had to play some shitty pittsburgh or northwesterneqsue CCG and got in by being 13-0 if it pleased you more. I think ND is going to get exposed by a good team, but they did go 12-0, cant deny it, and they did it playing a bunch of P5 teams. They arent in a conference, just how it is, most years that would hurt their chances more than help them. Especially if they had 1 loss this year, no way in hell a 1 loss ND on that schedule gets in over OU, and probabably not over 2 loss georgia either.

I stand by my original comment. You know I said ou didn't pass the eye test which was a bit tongue in cheek. But they would trounce ND because it's a great match up for them. UGA beats both I think. tOSU beats ND and would have been a phenomenal game to watch with ou, especially with the recent history. The CFP was supposed to be about the 4 best teams, I think they got two absolutely right and two that could have been better based on some minor tweaks.

I realize we won't agree and I know I am on the verge of blasphemy by questioning the ou machine, is what it is. My biggest frustration is your fanbase spent the entire end of the 2011 season telling us we didn't belong because we didn't pass the eye test, because of our defense. That defense was better than what ou is fielding today. When matched up with teams that are semi-potent on offense, you know you have to win with 50+ on the board, which I am fine with. I wish we still played that brand but we pissed it away in exchange for "staff continuity" or some such BS.
