I like the change. Play OU in the middle of the season.

There have been a lot of times it would have been better to do that. It seems they always right the ship at the end of the season and we get their best game.

Considering ou has won 20 something games in a row in November I don't want any part of playing them in November.

Didn’t we do it back in ‘04 or ‘05?

And you’re going to be disappointed in hoping Chuba comes back next season...

I like this too. Somebody else posted to move the game to the first game of the season. I like that idea also.

This times a million! I used to think it was good playing them at the end thinking maybe we could catch them looking to the Big 12 Championship like in 2000, 2002, 2006 and so on but dammit, they just don’t lose in November anymore. I think now that we’re more relevant than we were in the pre Les Miles days it’s harder for us to sneak up on them.
Also look at 1989 and 1990. It took me a minute to remember that the goons played us before they played Texas that year. Just doesn’t seem right.

I also think moving the game helps. Lately they've been in the process of backing their way into the playoffs as of November. We're going to get their best shot no matter what, but better to be earlier.

I'd take Matt Rhule or Lincoln Riley any day over Gundy.

I'm pretty sure we could have had either one of them.

Mike Norvell, Matt Campbell, Chris Klieman etc...

Point being is that there are good young hungry coaches that could come to OSU, recruit better and do as well or better than 8-4.

I'm sure there was a point in time that there were a lot of Oregon fans that thought that Mike Bellotti was the best they could ever do as well.
