The Queen has suspended Parliament from Sept 9 to Oct 14 on the request of PM Boris Johnson. Which is generally customary as the Queen does not involve herself in politics

Parliament is currently out of session but will return to work on Sept 3rd. On Sept 9th they will be suspended from work until Oct 14th. They will return to work that day and have until Oct 31st before Brexit.

However, if the Members of Parliament can pass a vote of No Confidence in Boris Johnson prior to Sept 10th then it will trigger a general election in Oct for a new PM. Boris Johnson currently only has a 31% approval rating so a No Contest is very possible.

If a No Confidence vote is called and does pass and a new PM is elected...then who ever wins would most likely determine the outcome of Brexit.

If this happens. Then party lines for which the PM candidates would come from is

The Labour party which is split among its own members in favor of and against Brexit

Liberal Democrats opposed to Brexit

Scottish Nationalists opposed to Brexit

Brexit Party which wants the UK out of the EU

Brexit is good for the USA and I think ultimately good for the UK and it's sovereignty. Was a stupid move for them in the first place to join the EU...IMHO then NEED out and the progressives in the UK just don't understand national sovereignty just as they do not here, which is a bit scary.

Anybody remember when the EU was just an economic thing. Say what you will about the liberals we have in the United States, but at least they aren't as crazy as European liberals. Yet.

San Fran sets the liberal insanity curve in this country. The rest of the loons will follow eventually, which is why I said yet.

Meanwhile across the pond people are actually being arrested for speech and the PM of Ireland said his country wants nothing to do with the outdated notion of sovereignty.
