Sure, but I'm not really talking about athletics. The city of Tulsa is under-served by not having a public university option. We have a fairly large presence there already with OSU-Tulsa and filling that need would be mutually beneficial.
I remember several months ago the Tulsa Regional Chamber sent a group to Columbus, Ohio to look at what Columbus has in place and have done recently to enhance their city. Of course attracting business is one of the goals of the Chamber. One of their stated needs after they returned was a 4 year public university in Tulsa. Maybe that would include OSU gaining a larger footprint and role in the Tulsa area.
