Texas is BACK, folks...

...in Boone Pickens Stadium, to get these hands. Hopefully Tommy H. has figured not to come onto the field this time.

Sam Ehlinger probably wants revenge for the last time he was here. Too bad we went out and found ourselves a defense this time around, buddy. Hopefully there aren't any clouds forecast for the game tomorrow, so you can enjoy the view of the those clear blue skies over the house that Boone built.

Oklahoma State has beaten Texas more often than not over the last decade. Let's get this decade off on a similar note.

Interesting fact from the Texas guide: they list the most wins by a head coach since 2015 as though it shows how cool Tom Herman is, as he has 50 wins since then (he's tied for sixth). Gundy has 49, and would tie (and one might reasonably say pass) Herman with a win on Saturday.

heh. Herman is 25-15 (prior to 2020) in B12 play, and 1-2 vs oSu. What did Will Rogers say? "Figgers lie, and Liars figger".

Texas has problems this year. Lots of divisive, off-the-field issues, Ehlinger all alone on the field after a heartbreaking loss to OU....and now 5 of their recruits decommitted this week which has their fanbase screaming for their coaches head.

If there was ever a year to jump all over a team early to see how many of them mentally check-out, this would be it.

But make no mistake, they're still loaded with talented players and led by a veteran QB. If it's close or they get a lead, it's going to be tough.

I like UT fans, always seem like good people. But the Cowboys need to impose their will on the Horns tomorrow and break their spirit.
The funny thing is that a lot of Texas fans are rooting for us to roll them so the Herman experiment will end.

Edited for inappropriate language. Won't happen again.
