Well, on to another homecoming. Iowa State's homecoming, that is.

All of us want an OSU victory. There's no doubt about that. All of us love OSU. But it's more than that this week. We owe Iowa State. We owe them big time. And if we rebound against them, they'll deserve what they get.

Not because of anything Brock Purdy did, though that's part of it. No, that's not the biggest part of it.

They know what they did. That kick was good.

Remarks complete.

I know we've all bantered back and forth about Baylor and Gundy. But that was last week. The guys are going to put on their uniform and go out on the field of battle today to represent OSU. They don't represent me. They will play hard.
And on this day we will come together, wear Orange and support those guys.

So get on up,

IT'S GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!

Please, please, for the love of god, throw the ball somewhere other than just the numbers out on Wallace's side.

Please, please, for the love of god, quit acting like a fade is the only pass route we have in the red zone.

This is an extremely winnable game today.
Iowa state is going to try to Defense US exactly like we tried to defense Baylor last week in the first half and try to pin everything back to the boundary.

If our coaches understand this and learn how to roll that boundary side safety and then run back to that side and or throw to the back or throw a slant or fade to the single receiver, like Baylor did we can torch this defense.

If our coaches don't know what they're doing, like they haven't on several occasions this year, and don't beat their head against the wall, and Iowa state will beat us

We have the kryptonite for this type of defense
1) stretch run game to the boundary
2) the ability to tilt the field to the field side with trips
3) receivers that can win jump balls and are physical enough to be effective in the slant game
4) a qb can run

If we ever are going to put pull scheme in our Playbook, like everybody else in the world has done, this is the week to do it.
