Anyone with a lick of knowledge regarding unemployment rate will know the "official" number is utter nonsense. We need to stop focusing on the official number (plz read article)

Also, Trump hasnt won a damn thing..and honestly, Trump has accomplished zilch, nada, no matter how hard a propaganda spewing machine tries to convince you. If you believe otherwise, there's no question you are a willing recipient of such hogwash.

Here's why (why the official number is BS). Please take time to actually read:

Didn’t Pres Ford pardon Nixon for any crimes he “may” have committed? It’s been a long time ago and I don’t know if I’m remembering it correctly.
Well Nixon was never convicted and nor was his impeachment agreed to by the Senate. So I guess yes

I don't think Mexico is really the issue anymore, it is all about the Central American countries. They are so small that a little bit of industry would make a huge difference there. I know the perception is that every one of them would rather be here in the US, but having new family in El Salvador, I can tell you that is not the case. They just need economic opportunity and a bit more security/stability and the current immigration issue would be gone.
I certainly don't mind helping to build economies in impoverished nations, we just need to know when it becomes self defeating and stop it. This hasn't been our history, instead we have created economic powerhouses that challenge our dominance...while, yes, also providing markets for our products. It's a very hard dilemma and one I'm afraid our government isn't adept at handling very well. Companies and individuals however have been pretty good at building economies when they are given the freedom needed in order to do so. Corrupt governments in Central America typically don't give people the freedom needed to their peoples in order for them to prosper...instead they are continually fighting over when the next Socialist / Marxist movement is going to save them instead of embracing free market capitalism.

Hmmm, very good point! I wonder how the actual power is laid out in the constitution, too busy to research now. I would think it would require a conviction first, because otherwise you get into a sticky situation where you are possibly pardoning people so early that it almost would create a sacrosanct aura around them. Reminds me of the Roman tribunes and dictators, but without any electoral process to put them there in the first place. Need to be careful with this stuff.

That's really what I'm advocating for, private investment. Government to government aide always comes with strings that don't really equate to benefiting local economies. I'd rather the Nike's and Marriott's of the world lead the way and invest with a cooperation plan among the governments to provide the necessary security to make it happen. The four countries involved combined population is only around 36 million, so not a big hill to climb, and doubtful would ever become an economic powerhouse just due to that.

Duh. The population is aging and baby boomers are retiring. You simply can't handle the fact that Trump is successful. You would rather the U.S. were a shithole like Venezuela.
YES! Trump sure as hell was successful when it comes to taking off real estate business losses when figuring his income taxes. More successful than anybody else doing it.
Billion Dollar Loser: NYT Report on Trump’s Taxes & Massive Losses May Prompt Fraud Investigation

"He is a con artist. He’s a criminal. He is a fraud. And once the banks realized that they had been had, nobody would loan money to him anymore, except Deutsche Bank, which was the preferred bank for Russian oligarchs—that is the criminal gang around Vladimir Putin—to launder their money."

Dims are going to investigate Trump. Who'd have seen this coming? I know I'm shocked.

Guess who paid no income tax in 2018 on 11 billion in profits? Amazon. Why? Tax loss carry overs. In fact they got a tax rebate of 129 million. Wonder if the WaPo will do a story on that? LOL

But David Cay Johnston has said that here’s a difference between aggressive, creative devices to avoid taxes and what the Trumps did, which was flat-out fraud.
