So, we spread the filed by passing to the edges, and then run up the middle. Or we run up the middle to bunch the defense, then pass to the edge.

And then our fan base cries out to bunch the defense in the middle, and pass into their midst!

These first three games, especially Tulsa, the defense was to crowd the receivers, and make Spencer beat them with the deep pass. Then defend the deep pass with the obvious pass interference. This isn't an opinion, it's what the opposing coaches were stating. So, we ran til they stopped it, (the didn't) then threw where they weren't. How about a screen pass to the sideline that went 70 yards or so because the defense was chasing a deep receiver and stacking the middle for the run? Oh, wait, we hate the wide receiver screen...
