With a good chance of going to the NIT and possible host, will fans be allowed?

The NCAA just announced NO fans for the Big Dance, both men and women.

WOW

In truth we don't know. The NCAA owns and administers the NIT so I expect the neutral site games are for sure going to be the same rules. However, I think home games are managed by the schools and their conference's rules. Theoretically fans could still be allowed at all home games.

That said, I fully expect today will be the last NCAA basketball games played in front of fans this year. I will be surprised if all conferences/schools don't follow the NCAA's lead.

Per John and Dave
Starting tomorrow each team will only be allowed 125 tickets, there will be no pep band and no general attendance.

Wouldn’t be surprised if NIT simply cancels its tourney. They don’t have the financial backstop of big TV money. Hope not, but need to wait and see. Thunder game postponed tonight minutes before tipoff with 18,000 people in the arena! Crazy.

Help me. I’ve been coughing and sneezing all afternoon long. It COULD be seasonal allergies. But it could also be the fourth case of Covid-19 in the state of Oklahoma. Should I remain calm, or cancel all my appointments, including my dentist and my Swedish masseuse, just to be safe? :runaway:
